Celebrating Papa John's Annual Day of Service

On May 20, 2019, The Papa John’s Foundation, in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, launched an annual Day of Service as part of Papa John’s commitment to making a meaningful difference in the communities in which Papa John’s franchisees, team members and customers live and work.

Papa John’s team members volunteered with local Clubs across the country including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Louisville, Miami, New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. for a day of giving back to their local communities.

During the day, team members participated in a variety of projects at their local Clubs including helping youth with their homework, painting art rooms and beautifying gardens.

Members of the Boys & Girls Club in East Scarborough, near Toronto, received a special surprise visit by Papa John’s board member and franchisee, Shaquille O’Neal, who delivered plenty of pizza and smiles and even took to the court to work on basketball skills with some of the kids and teens.
