Papa John's Text Ordering Overview

Follow these short, simple steps, and you'll be on your way to ordering via text message in no time.

1. If you haven't already, set up an online customer account by going to our registration page. If you are a current online customer, see the "Already an existing www.papajohns.com customer?" section below.
   
   
2. All text ordering must be placed from the mobile number associated to your online account. To add your mobile telephone number to your online customer account, see the "Add Your Mobile Number to Your Online Account" section below.
   
   
3. Set up at least one preset Favorite associated to your online customer account at www.papajohns.com. A Favorite is a preset order saved to your account, complete with any combination of pizza, sides and drinks, as well as your delivery address or carryout information and payment type. You can save up to 4 preset Favorites for easy ordering. Learn how to set one up the section below, labeled "Have a Favorite? It's Easy to Save."
   
   

Once you've completed the steps above, you're ready to order one of your preset Favorites via text message.

Already an Existing www.papajohns.com Customer?

If you already have an online customer account, please update your account to enable text ordering by following these short steps:

1. Log on to your account by going to www.papajohns.com.
   

   

   
   
2. On the next page, click on the "Modify Account" button, located at the top right.
   

   

   
   
3. Under the "Text (SMS) Ordering" heading, click on "Update text (SMS) ordering settings."
   

   

   
   
4. Next to "Text (SMS) Ordering Status," make sure your account reads "ENABLED." If it reads "DISABLED" Click the "Change" button to enable your account for text ordering.

   

   
   

Add Your Mobile Number to Your Online Account

1. Log on to your account by going to www.papajohns.com.
   

   

   
   
2. Click on the "Modify Account" button located at the top right.
   

   

   
   
3. Click on the "Change Your Phone Number" button.
   

   

   
   
4. Enter your mobile number twice and click on the "Submit" button.
   

   

   
   

Have a Favorite? It's Easy to Save.

Now you can order your favorite combination of Papa John's menu items in as few as 2 simple clicks or via text message! You can save up to 4 preset Favorites for easy ordering at papajohns.com. Set up different orders for your family dinner, work lunch, late-night pizza craving, etc.

Once you've tailored your Favorites to your specific tastes, your next online order is as easy as 2 clicks on the web.

1. On the Papa John's Main Menu page, click on the "Create" button or the "Set up a new favorite now" button to start the "Favorites Wizard."

Ordering a Favorite Via Text Message

If you'd like a list of the preset Favorites associated to your online customer account, text "FAV" to 4PAPA (47272). We'll send you a text with details about the Favorites you have saved.

To order a Favorite by text message, simply text "FAV 1," "FAV 2," FAV 3," or "FAV 4" to 4PAPA. We'll text you with details about the Favorite you're ordering, along with price and delivery/carryout information. We'll prompt you to confirm and complete your order by replying "Y1," "Y2," "Y3," or "Y4" (Your reply will correspond to the Favorite you have chosen). Once you have responded, we'll send you a confirmation text and your order will be on its way!

To terminate the order request instead of confirming it, simply text "N" to 4PAPA. It's that simple!

If you do not respond with a confirmation or cancellation reply, you will receive a text informing you that your text order has timed-out and been cancelled.

Restaurant Locator

Text a 5-digit zip code to 4PAPA (47272), and you'll receive text(s) with all the Papa John's location(s) that service your zip code.

Text a street address & zip code to 4PAPA, and we'll send you the address and telephone number of the Papa John's restaurant that delivers to your address. If no locations deliver to your address, we'll send you the nearest locations for carry-out.

Deals/SMS Coupons

Text "DEALS" to 4PAPA (47272), and we'll send you one text with a special offer on Papa John's pizza, sides, drinks, desserts and/or other items.

Sign Up to Receive Promotional Text Messages

Sign up to receive periodical text messages with Papa John's promotions and special offers by texting "START" to 4PAPA (47272).

Stop Receiving Promotional Text Messages

To stop receiving promotional text messages from Papa John's, simply text "STOP" to 4PAPA (47272). We will remove your mobile number from our subscriptions list.

NOTE: This will not disable your text ordering feature. It will only remove you from our promotional text messaging subscriptions list.

To start receiving our promotional emails again, text "START" to 4PAPA, and we'll add your mobile number back into our promotional database.

Change Your Payment Type

If a credit card number is associated to your account but you'd like to pay for your text order by cash or check, text "FAV# PAY CASH" or "FAV# PAY CHECK." Replace "#" with the actual number of the Favorite you ordered.
(Example: "FAV2 PAY CASH")

If you'd like to change your text order payment from cash or check to credit card, the details of that specific credit card must already be associated to your online account. Text "FAV# PAY MC1234" where "#" is the number of the Favorite you ordered, and MC1234 represents MasterCard with an account number ending in 1234.
(Example: FAV2 PAY MC7784)

Other payment types include Visa (VS), Discover Card (DI), Diners Club (DC) and American Express (AX).

To find out which credit card(s) you have associated to your online customer account, text "PAYMENTS" to 4PAPA, and we'll text you a list.

Change Your Delivery or Carryout Locations

If you have several different delivery or carryout locations associated to your online customer account ("home," "work," etc.), you can choose or change a location for your text order via text message. You can also confirm or change how you'd like to receive your pizza (delivery or carryout).

To make a change to your delivery location OR to change your order from carryout to delivery: Text "FAV# DELIVERY (LOCATION)" where "#" is the number of the Favorite you ordered and "LOCATION" is the actual location name you have saved, such as "work".
(Example: "FAV2 DELIVERY WORK")

To make a change to your carryout location OR to change your order from delivery to carryout: Text "FAV# CARRYOUT (LOCATION)" where "#" is the number of the Favorite you ordered and "LOCATION" is the actual location name you have saved.
(Example: "FAV2 CARRYOUT WORK")

To find out which location(s) you have associated to your online customer account, text "LOCATION" or "LOC" to 4PAPA, and we'll text you a list.
